Meet Meagan Parker- Lularoe

There are a multitude of aspects relating to Meagan Parker’s life that began as virtual unknowns. She started her young adult career in the healthcare industry as Vice President of New Business Development, networking and cultivating corporate relationships across the United States, oftentimes not knowing where she was headed one week to the next.

While honing her business acumen was outwardly fulfilling, few knew the toll it was taking on her emotionally and spiritually being away from her growing family for days at a time. Now married for nine years to husband, Robert, and mother to three children, Nash, Stone and Tillie, Meagan trudged through her work days only to find her most gratifying moments when she walked through her own front door.

Then, the tables turned and Meagan decided to choose the one thing she did know, her love for her family, over a certain employment future….and it all started with a maxi skirt. Using every ounce of business knowledge she had via her MA in Marketing, Meagan took the ultimate leap into the unknown and started as a LuLaRoe retailer four years ago, at the inception of the company. With just 83 other retailers nationally, she threw herself into her home-based clothing business with every ounce of love she could muster. She saw the potential in this virtually unknown brand and worked it until it worked for her.

Meagan Parker now boasts the second largest LuLaRoe retail business in the nation, with more than 16,000 retailers in all 50 states forming the fabric of her multi-million dollar team. Her role as a LuLaRoe business owner and mentor is to help other women feel beautiful, gain confidence and find financial freedom by finding their purpose through the unknown.

Meagan’s feisty, California-born, go-getter attitude has led her to this very moment – one she is so very sure of and now knows well. Her nomination as Woman of the Year leaves her humbled and determined to impart The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with every ounce of her dedication through her fundraising efforts, emotional support and awareness.

“A strong woman knows she has strength for the journey, but a woman of strength knows it is in the journey where she will become strong.” -Unknown
