Organizational Overview

The Leukemia & Lymphoma SocietyŽ (LLS) exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients. Today, LLS is the world?s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to finding cures for leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and all other blood cancers. LLS?s commitment to research has contributed to an unprecedented rise in survival rates for patients with many blood cancers. Survival rates for blood cancers have doubled, tripled and even quadrupled since the 1960s. Despite these advances, about one third of patients with a blood cancer still do not survive even five years after their diagnosis, which is why more funding is needed to bring better therapies to patients, and faster.

LLS is changing the landscape of blood cancer. Someday is today.

Thanks to the generous corporations that support LLS? mission of living in a world free of blood cancer, we have been able to invest more than onebillion dollars in research funding in the past 67 years. Supporters of LLS have the opportunity to customize the various sponsorship levels we have available to correspond with the organization?s marketing and branding needs. Your support will make a difference, and on behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, we thank you.

With the funds raised, the Connecticut Westchester Hudson Valley Chapter (CTWHV) of LLS can continue to support groundbreaking research, clinical trials and provide cancer patients and their families with support in 13 counties across the CTWHV Market and Region.
