The Illinois Man & Woman of the Year Campaign

Campaign 2012:  April 5 - June 16

The Man & Woman of the Year campaign is a national 10-week fundraising competition. Candidates are nominated to use their leadership skills to conduct individual fundraising campaigns. Every dollar raised counts as one vote. The man and woman with the most votes are named the Man & Woman of the Year.

In 2011, the Illinois Man & Woman of the Year candidates collectively raised over $625,000, contributing to the $14 million raised nationally.

This year, 13 amazing individuals have stepped up to the challenge and will raise funds in support of the LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Contact Lauren Youngblood at (312) 568-7748 or Lauren.Youngblood@LLS.org for more details.
