Boy & Girl of the Year
NORTHEAST INDIANA'S 2015 BOY & GIRL OF THE YEAR
The Boy & Girl of the Year are local children battling blood cancers who serve as motivation and inspiration to Man & Woman of the Year candidates in their competition to raise funds for research, education, advocacy, and patient aid.

3-year-old Evan Conner was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) on April 18, 2014. Evan is in remission and going through a 3.5 year chemothearpy protocol.
Evan loves going to the zoo, library and parks, as well as playing with his cousins and being outdoors.

5-year-old Ava Bower was diagnosed with ALL, the most common form of childhood cancer, on November 7, 2013--just 4 days before her birthday. Ava is in remission and is still receiving chemotherapy.
Ava started kindergarten this year and loves going to the zoo, riding her bike and playing with play-doh, legos, and her puppy.
