Everyone wins when cancer loses.
Who will be the
2014 Massachusetts Chapter's
Man & Woman of the Year?
More than 1 million people in the United States are living with, or are in remission from a blood cancer. Someone new is diagnosed with a blood cancer every four minutes. New cases of leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma will account for nine percent of the 1.5 million new cancer diagnoses in the United States this year.
During a spirited ten-week competition, Man & Woman of the Year candidates raise funds to help accelerate research and improve the quality of life for blood cancer patients. Over $22.7 million was raised nationally last year and the Massachusetts Chapter has a goal of raising $360,000 this year!
