Welcome to the Minnesota Chapter's
Man & Woman of the Year Campaign
2017 Man & Woman of the Year
The Man & Woman of the Year campaign is a spirited fundraising competition in communities across the U.S. in which participants build teams to compete for the title of Man or Woman of the Year. They raise funds for LLS blood cancer research in honor of local children who are blood cancer survivors, the Boy & Girl of the Year. The titles are awarded to the man and woman in each community who raises the most funds during the ten-week campaign; top local fundraisers in the country also win the national titles.
Our exciting 2018 campaign will begin with a Kickoff Celebration on Thursday, March 8, 2018. The fundraising competition will culminate with a celebration of everyone's efforts at a black tie Grand Finale Gala on Saturday, May 19, 2018.
Are You Ready for the Challenge? The ideal candidates are community and business leaders who are philanthropic, ambitious, socially active, resourceful, goal oriented and passionate about finding a cure for blood cancers. Their unstoppable ambition drives them to fundraise in a very large scale capacity with record breaking results.
LLS is the voice for all blood cancer patients. Let Someday be Today by joining the Leadership Team, Nomination Board, becoming a volunteer, nominating a candidate or sponsoring the campaign. Contact Lisa Myhre at 612.259.4508 or Lisa.Myhre@lls.org for more information.
