The Leadership Team
Members of the Leadership Team utilize their passion for giving and their extensive networks to help identify the best potential candidates for the upcoming campaign. The support of the Leadership Team is key to the success of The Man & Woman of the Year campaign!
Leadership Team members commit to attend six meetings between September and May. Meetings are held on weekday evenings, usually at the LLS Office in Golden Valley. At the meetings the Leadership Team works together to set the stage for an amazing 2012 campaign! They do this through:
- Nominating candidates, and following up as neccessary
- Motivating and supporting candidates once they have committed
- Securing cash and in-kind sponsorships
- Securing high-ticket auction items to be auctioned off the night of the Grand Finale
- Assisting with other special projects as needed
