The Triangle Man & Woman of the Year Campaign
Everyone wins when cancer loses.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Man & Woman of the Year campaign is a fundraising competition among a select group of individuals in the community. Candidates for Man & Woman of the Year are extraordinary people. They share a competitive spirit and compassion for others. They are dynamic individuals who are well-connected in their communities. And they are relentless in their efforts to find cures for blood cancers. From corporate presidents to ultra marathoners, the diverse individuals all have one goal in mind: a world without blood cancer. While each candidate conducts their own campaign, all candidates are united by one goal: to use their leadership skills to raise funds to help blood cancer patients live longer and more fulfilling lives. By accepting the nomination, candidates will have ten weeks beginning the day of the kickoff to accumulate the most "votes." Every dollar raised counts as one vote. The male and female candidates who raise the most votes during the campaign are named the Triangle Man & Woman of the Year at the Grand Finale on April 30, 2016.
