Thank you so much for your interest in supporting LLS’s mission to cure blood cancer, not someday but today! Please note, online fundraising gifts made after 6:00 pm EST on Thursday, May 15th will not impact the announcement of the 2014 local Man and Woman of the Year in Lancaster/York, but your donation will still greatly impact LLS’s mission.

Welcome to my Man & Woman of the Year home page for Team Hitz!
It's an honor to be apart of such an amazing Campaign to raise awareness and money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This is a cause that is near and dear to my heart...as it was for Todd as well. My husband was diagnosed with Hodgekins Lymphoma in 1993. During his 18 year journey Todd never gave up and carried a positive attitude, faith and love that left a mark of legacy on us all. He used to say to me, "Krissy if I can keep going...who knows what researchers will discover and how many others I can help." Every day makes a difference. Every dollar makes a difference. Todd Hitz continues to make a difference.
During Todd's illness the LLS provided monetary and emotional support that is paid for by $'s through events like this. Please join me in honoring Todd Hitz by donating here on this page in his name. Together we will make a difference and never give up.
Mission in Motion - Team Hitz
Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Every dollar I raise counts as one vote and the candidate who gets the most votes /raises the most money is named the Man or Woman of the Year.
Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.
LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.
And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs like Gleevec, Sprycel, Arinza, Tasigna and Zolinza are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.
We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
Please visit my Web site often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere I thank you for your support! For more information about LLS, please visit www.lls.org
