The Home Stretch
We are in the home stretch of the Man & Woman of the Year Campaign. The Gala is in a 2 weeks and everyone is scrambling to make the last couple of dollars and auction items so they can make the biggest impact on these cancers.
I posted this picture of my family because I often need to be reminded (all of us probably do) about how lucky I am. My family is healthy and happy. Getting to know Alecia and her family really makes me look at things differently. Michele Lundy is a strong little girl. I'm sure she has bad days but I haven't seen her have one yet. I admire her, her Mom, her Dad and her sweet sisters. Whenever I am having a bad day I have been able to refocus and get my priorities in order.
For all that have donated, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. My team has been incredible and I am forever greatful to them for their efforts. I am surrounded by generous, wonderful people.
