Please join me for a night of many festivities in support of my campaign to be this year's Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's MAN OF THE YEAR. My goal is to raise as much money as I possibly can for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which would win me the title, but most importantly would help fight blood cancers. Let's honor all who have fought hard and lost the battle and those still fighting all forms of blood cancer!
This event will highlight The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on a grand scale, so please come out and support one of your fellow concierge community team members!
While this event is about supporting a concierge colleague, it is indeed open to the public! Our dear friends at Local Root have the same passion we do and have generously donated their venue, cuisine, beer, wine, and a "blood cancer killer" cocktail!
Oh wait, there is more! The rumors about the date auction are true! We will be including a date auction throughout the evening. We have some incredible single Chicagoans that are putting themselves out there for the sake of gaining a cure and raising blood cancer awareness. Their bios and photos will be popping up in the
weeks to come!
There will also be live music!!
You will not want to miss this event!
It is a Red Party, after all, so accent your wardrobe by wearing something RED.

How about some info about who I am?
I'm a proud father of 2 rambunctious boys and an adoring husband to my wife Michelle. I reside in North Center and was raised on the South Side of Chicago. I have an abundant, extended family that is my universe. Sadly, some of those members as some of my wife’s have lost a battle to the ever powerful and determined enemy we call Cancer. One of my favorite quotes describes this particular campaign I will be embarking on perfectly…”It’s what people don’t do sometimes that defines their credibility” and if I have anything to say about it, it’s that it’s my turn to DO!
I consider myself an avid golfer, self-admitted Trekkie, and a Superman and superhero fanatic. I take pride in turning a frown upside down. I'm also on a bowling league and even have a bunch of big, burly, bowlers cheering me along this ride! I have many cheerleaders, be it the bowlers, my family, and lifelong childhood friends.
I've been employed by W Hotels as Concierge since 2005. I continue to network in the Chicago Concierge community along with the food and beverage industry. It is my mission to bring this profound message to my relatively accessible audience.
Thanks to your support, my efforts, will help fund the therapies and treatments and help save lives today.
MITCHEL RAMIREZ: BOY OF THE YEAR!
LLS's continued advancements over the years, are responsible for the blood cancer survival rate doubling and tripling; in some cases, the survival rate has even quadrupled.
BROOKE ROBERTS: GIRL OF THE YEAR!
And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers. They're even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. LLS funded drugs like Gleevec, Sprycel, Arinza, Tasigna and Zolinza are now being tested for patients with other non-cancerous diseases like Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Multiple Sclerosis.
We really are changing the face of blood cancer!
All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
Please visit my Web site often and bring friends who would also like to donate!
