We are pleased to announce that March 2012 marks the 3rd year of the South Carolina chapter's participation in the Man & Woman of the Year Campaign and we are thrilled!
This year's campaign beings with our Kick Off Event on Friday, March 30 and ends after an eventful 10 weeks at our Grand Finale on Friday, June 15. This year's honored patients are Elliot Cooper, age 2 1/2, and Sandra Aboulhosn, age 16.
In the meantime, we are still looking for energetic, mission-driven individuals to join us in our efforts to make life better for hundreds of thousands of patients battling blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
In the 2011 Man & Woman of the Year campaign, seven amazing individuals raised over $110,000 for blood cancer research and patient services. John Phillips and Jenny Gonzalez were awarded the title of 2011 Man & Woman of the Year at a grand finale celebration at Zen on June 2, 2011.
