 Nashville's 2013 Boy & Girl of the Year

The Boy & Girl of the Year are local children battling blood cancers who serve as motivation and inspiration to Man & Woman of the Year candidates in their competition to raise funds and win the titles.

On October 28, 2010, Jackson Williams was diagnosed with Stage IV Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. This past October, 2 years later, he went into remission and is now DONE with treatment! Son to Josh and Christina Williams, Jackson has an older sister, Madisen, and two younger brothers, Collin and Jude. This 9-year-old enjoys spending time with his family and absolutely loves sports: baseball, football, basketball and hockey. When this athlete is not with his family or playing sports, you might see him spending time outside or collecting baseball cards.

Jordan Smith was diagnosed in June, 2012 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She is now in the maintenance phase of chemotherapy. Jordan has two sisters, Makeila and Sarah, and one brother, Lane. In her spare time, Jordan enjoys fishing, refinishing furniture, interior design, and church. This 15-year-old is a hero to so many, and is excited to be this year's Girl of the Year.
