What are the Competing for Cures Olympic Games?

On Thursday, May 7th, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will host its 3rd Annual Competing for Cures Olympic Games.  The games bring together the best of the local community - colleagues, partners, and friends for a day of competition and networking all while raising money to fund LLS's mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma and to improve the lives of patients and their families.

As a community with a pedigree of solving some of the world’s toughest challenges, we’re looking forward to coming together on a different field of battle. The day includes an opening ceremony, a number of competitive activities including dodgeball, tug of war, relay races, home run derby, hot dog eating contest + more and a catered lunch for all competitors. We’ll spend an epic day competing for the bragging rights, a traveling trophy and the honor of funding cutting edge research for cures!

"A lot of these companies are constantly tangling with each other out in the marketplace so it's fun to get out here to have some friendly competition on the field.... we're scoring well, we're having fun and everyone is just having a really good time supporting LLS." - 2018 / 2019 competitor Rob Williams, Red River Technology
