The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Presents

Man & Woman of the Year

Man & Woman of the Year is a philanthropic competition to support blood cancer research among a group of motivated and dedicated individuals in communities across the United States. Candidates form powerful fundraising teams and compete in honor of local children who are blood cancer survivors.

The man and woman who have raised the most funds during the ten-week campaign are awarded the prestigious title of Man or Woman of the Year in the Greater New Orleans region. The man and woman who have raised the most across the entire US will be recognized as the National Man or Woman of the Year.

If you would like to support us today, please do so by:

  1. Referring blood cancer patients. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with a blood cancer, please direct them to www.lls.org, where they can connect directly with a professional at our Informational Resource Center. We are rising to the occasion.
  2. If you have the means, please donate. Any amount that is right for you at this time, is right for our patients: Support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
    • If you and/or you company have the capacity to match donations and would like to have a greater impact towards our initiatives, please contact Brian Sisco at Brian.Sisco@lls.org.

We wish you and your loved ones health and strength as you navigate the pandemic. And, in true LLS fashion, we will press on together, as ONE LLS, to fulfill our role as a global leader in the fight against cancer. We will not waver in our commitment to blood cancer patients, as we are driven toward our mission: curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improving the quality of life of patients and their families.
